Kirsten Foot and Steve Schneider’s book Web Campaigning has been awarded the 2008 Doris Graber Outstanding Book Award. This award is presented by the Political Communication Section of the American Political Science Association(APSA). It is given to “the best book published on political communication in the last ten years”!
The book explores the timely topic of how electoral campaigns in the United States employ web technologies to enact and extend campaign activities. In addition to the text, the authors have archived election websites from 2000, 2002, and 2004, and have made these available at http://mitpress.mit.edu/books/0262062585/WebCampaigningDigitalSupplement.html.
This award will be presented this evening at the ASPA conference in Boston.
