To celebrate the end of National Poetry Month, we've asked a few of our talented and creative staff members to express their thoughts about publishing and MIT Press in a haiku. Here are a few of our favorites.
Cold War Kitchen: I
cooked in one before we moved:
fifty-year-old stove.
(Susan Clark, Books Marketing)
Love the scent of books
In my MIT Press nook
Internet don’t smell.
(Ada Brunstein, Books Acquisitions)
O paper, best muse
Be now in digitized space –
United? Can’t say.
(David Weininger, Books Publicity)
When you want to learn,
About science and robots,
We have got your back.
(Kelley Travers, Books Sales)
Thanks to all of our staff poets. And let us know if you have a MIT Press related haiku of your own. Happy Poetry Month.

I always thought Haiku sounded like riddles.
