The winner of this year’s Harold and Margaret Sprout Award was announced at the annual International Studies Association convention in New York this past week. The Sprout Award honors the best book in international environmental problems. It’s a highly coveted award for those in the field.
Charlotte Epstein’s The Power of Words in International Relations was announced as a runner-up. Congratulations to Charlotte Epstein!
The winner of this year’s award is an Oxford University Press book written by Steve Vanderheiden. But Dr. Vanderheiden also has ties to MIT Press – he recently edited Political Theory and Global Climate Change. We certainly congratulate him as well.
