Happy Monday! Today's eye candy celebrates contemporary performance artist Marina Abramović. The "Marina Abramović The Artist is Present" documentary was just released in the UK last month, and screenings will run through mid-October. For an in-depth read about Marina Abramović, check out James Westcott's When Marina Abramovic Dies: A Biography, which draws on Westcott's personal observations of "the grandmother of performance art," along with hundreds of hours of interviews he conducted with the artist and the people closest to her.
Wow! So much expression! It's all so touching, so bright, so intense!!!
I really need to know more about Marina. She's probably a revolutioner in art.
